Many visitors to Sea Island’s Cloister Hotel miss some of the most interesting interior sites the resort has to offer. Sea Island was the host of the 2004 meeting of the G8 (group of eight). The original round table that the presidents of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States sat at during the forum is on display in a room in the Cloister. Also hidden away is a library and grand ballroom.
